If you have not registered for Every Hero Has A Story, click the Registration icon. There is no cutoff date for registering, but to get on the “A Wall” at the library, you must be signed up by June 22, 2015.

Parents register, then sign up each child as a participant. Older children and teens may sign up as one who registers, then add self as participant.
Please remember your username and password as that is how you will input your reading times as of June 14, 2015.
When you’re ready to report reading time, simply click the Activity Form icon, then give participant username and password. This will take you to the participant’s personal, customizable page. Earn badges for reading levels attained and programs attended!
With summer break comes summer reading at the Alexander County Library and the Bethlehem Branch. You will want to keep your reading skills sharp over the summer, and practice makes perfect. Let the library help you keep all the great strides you made over the school year.
We can provide great reading material all summer long, therapy dogs to read to, and awesome programs including a Scavenger Hunt with The Hiddenite Center. Did I mention fun, as well?

Reading time levels will be noted on the wall at each library. Each participant who attends a program or reports time read online or to the library will receive a goody bag and this year’s stadium cup.
